You made it to end my friend. We've finally got to the finish line of our initial journey, only to realize that we have come full circle.​

By the time we got to the writing the final song for the album, we had really come a long way. Not only had we not quit, but we also started seeing some great success. Just Enough Whiskey was a clear hit, we got three songs over a million streams, and most importantly we had grown as individuals. It made us realize something: The only reason we were able to complete this journey is because of our awesome upbringing back home. Our loved ones, city, and and experiences up until that point equipped us, and we were grateful. It's funny... We started out so bitter when we left, but coming to the last song, well it lead us right back home. Oh the irony...

Meaning Behind the Song

"I Left Home" is about having an appreciation for where you came from. It's having appreciation not only for those who raised you, but also the place, the experiences, and the mistakes. You acknowledge that without this, you would not have the strength to set out on your own and face life's challenges. This song was written to show that gratitude. The song also acknowledges that even though you are stopping to recognize the past, you cannot stay there. It's time to keep moving, and start the next part of your journey 💙
